“Workswell protective fixed housing for thermal cameras” (WHTC), a protective casing for LWIR thermal cameras, has been specifically designed for use in the demanding conditions of various industrial facilities, but also as a part of anti-fire and monitoring systems.
This protective casing is suitable for a wide spectrum of thermal cameras (including those with bulky optics), providing them with a high level of protection IP67, i.e. dust proofing and water proofing (the casing is water immersion resistant within the depth of 1m for a period of 30 minutes). The casing can also be integrated with a heating to ensure a stabilised inner temperature during fluctuating outside temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C.INQUIRY
Likewise, the casing has been designed with regards to a high metrology accuracy: the protective slit has been made of Germanium (a top quality material for LWIR thermal cameras) and the structure of the casing has been adapted to a conduct the heat away from the body of the thermal camera effectively. A high thermal stability and an accuracy of measurement are thus ensured.
The casing is also suitable for Workswell WIC, Workswell SMARTIS thermal cameras, series FLIR A thermal cameras, but also for the majority of other LWIR thermal cameras.
Moreover, the casing has been certified for operation in potentially explosive environments, which includes the ATEX certification.
